The Navigator can be locked up to prevent running down the battery from the inadvertent buttons presses. This is useful when traveling with the device.

To enable button locking, simultaneously press and hold the Power and Search buttons for 3 seconds. All buttons will flash twice to indicate that the device has now locked. Once enabled, any subsequent button presses, including pressing the Power button, will be ignored.

Disable Locking

To disable button locking,

• Simultaneously press and hold the Power and Search buttons for 3 seconds,
• or dock the Navigator into the Charging Station. Once undocked, the buttons will operate normally.
