Using Navigator with Windows

Navigation Buttons

Invoke the main functions of your GlideTV Navigator using following buttons. Note that N,E,W,S refers to the top, right, left and bottom buttons located around the edge of the touchpad.

Touchpad

Use the concave touchpad to point to a position on the screen using your thumb, and make a selection by holding that position and pressing down. The touchpad button is the equivalent of a left mouse button click.

Scroll Zone

When the Navigator is set in Relative Mode, the far right edge of the touchpad can be used to scroll vertically within application windows and the bottom edge can be used to scroll horizontally. (note: horizontal scrolling is only available on Windows Vista, 7 and Mac OS X)

In order to access the scroll zone functionality the finger/thumb you must first lift your finger/thumb off of the touchpad surface and back down in that zone. Once in the zone, you can slide finger/thumb up or down or left or right.

Application Controls

Control important aspects of applications and your HTPCʼs operating system using these combinations of buttons. Note that NW,NE,SW,SE refers to the buttons located around corners edges of the touchpad.

Media/DVD/CD Controls

Control the playback of songs or movies on your Home Theater PC (HTPC) using these combinations of buttons. Note that the Function key is located at the SW corner edge around the touchpad.

Live TV Controls

Control TV functions of your HTPCʼs Media Center applications that accept input from the Windows MCE remote. Requires a TV tuner in addition to Windows Media Center be installed. Note that N,S,NE,E,SE refers to the buttons located around the top, right, and bottom edges of the touchpad.
